Apply relaxer to hair in sections, starting at the nape of the neck and working towards the front. Use a comb to distribute the relaxer evenly from roots to ends. After relaxing, rinse hair thoroughly with warm water, and then shampoo with a neutralizing shampoo to stop the relaxing process.
