I've been eyeing this TYMO curler for over a year now, watching countless videos on how to use it, reading reviews, and wondering if I was being scammed. Still unsure whether it's a scam or not, I decided to take the plunge. Was it easy to use the first time? No, I still felt completely lost once I held the curler in my hands trying to make sense of where to insert my hair and which direction to set the curler setting.
I've been doing some research on YouTube, but nothing seemed to explain how to use this thing correctly. The instructions were vague at best, and even after multiple attempts, I still felt like a complete novice. Did it take me hours to figure out? Yes - I'd say that's an understatement.
Things only got worse when I tried to get my hair out of the curls. It ended up getting stuck multiple times, and I almost had a panic attack. Is this something you're prone to? Maybe. But let's be honest, it's not stupid-proof then.
I did manage to get most of my hair out without giving up, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept. And when I finally got my hair sorted, I was thrilled - it looked amazing! People were complimenting me on how good I looked everywhere.
Results-wise? It's been nothing short of stunning. My hair looks like it just came out of a salon, and everyone has been raving about it. Completely mesmerized by the beauty of those curls. Genuinely no faults whatsoever - it delivers the results promised, if I do say so myself.
I've protected my hair overnight with a bonnet, and the next day, my hair definitely looks not as good. But at least my curls are still there! As for how long they'll last? Let's just say I won't be needing to touch up anytime soon - it's supposed to hold for 7 days or so, according to TYMO's official website. So let's get realistic here and accept that it's not going to happen.
But hey, even if the curls don't last forever, I can still rock them without having to do anything more than touch them up every now and then. And that's a plus! Not even when I went back to the salon for a fresh cut, I could pull off the same look. You can see photos of how my hair looks right after using the curler - it's like magic.
I think I've been misled by all these reviews and videos, and now I'm willing to give TYMO a chance. If you're on the fence about whether this is worth your money, let me be your guide. Go ahead and buy it, have patience, and be reassured that you won't be disappointed - but also don't expect miracles!
